GOIL PLC is Ghana's top oil marketing company and the only indigenous petroleum marketing company in Ghana. It was established on June 14, 1960 as AGIP Ghana Company Limited, and the Government of Ghana acquired 100% shares in 1974, renaming it Ghana Oil Company Limited. GOIL was listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange in 2007. The company markets quality petroleum and energy products through the largest retail network in Ghana. GOIL holds the largest market share among all oil marketing companies in Ghana and supplies jet fuel to Kotoka International Airport, Takoradi Airforce Base, and Kumasi Airport.
